Full Screen DOS Windows and FP2007

Hi there,

since I upgraded my Image to FP2007, I cannot run Full Screen DOS-
Windows anymore. All needed components seems to be included - like
Full Screen DOS-Windows Support. But anytime, I press ALT+ENTER, I
will get a blank screen, instead of full screen DOS.

Maybe it is because of the footprint reducing done with fp2007. But I
don't know. How can I get the full screen DOS Windows Support back
working with FP2007?

It is needed, because we got a lot of customers using terminal
emulation (5250 etc).

Thx,
Steffi

Stefanie,

A couple hints:
- Do you have "Full screen video driver for console" component included in your image config?
- Did the video driver get installed at run time properly? (check out the FBALog.txt and SetupAPI.log to confirm this)

Hi KM,

Yep. Actually, I only updated my SP2 Config...
- Did the video driver get installed at run time properly? (check out the FBALog.txt and SetupAPI.log to confirm this)

Yes, that was ok so far. But I found the problem.

I earlier updated my database to a newer display driver, wich I have
never testet and I have almost forgotten it. So during update to
FP2007, this driver has also been updated...

The problem was, that primary video driver was set to CRT in this new
drivers, not to Notebook, like the old one (wich I downloaded from
xpefiles). So changing that option in driver control panel to primary
Notebook worked. I'm happy! No Need to change the config.

Thank you anyway and sorry for that posting here. I have been too
fast, again... I also will try to make a bootable CD using Nero, but
I'm too busy right now, there are other things with much more
priority.
