full cell content not shown in print

How do I make syre that my print disoplays all lines in all cells?

I have a big spreadsheet with Q&As - they vary a lot in length, but when
printed (and shown on screen) I want everything in all cells to be visible.

Highlighting the entire sheet and double-clicking on the row height solves
most of it - but not all of it...

Excel specifications states that you can have up to 32,767 characters in a cell,

However, only 1024 will show or be printed.

You can add an Alt + Enter linefeed every 100 or so characters to extend this
limit.

Also try dropping the font size down.

The problem is really not the quantity of text in the cell. It's more a
question of sizing the cells properly. Sometimes in printouts the last line
in a cell is only half visible (the lower half is cut off).

How do I make sure all cells are big enough to displar the contents properly?

I always thought that there was nothing I could do except increase the
rowheight/columnwidth manually. I would expect this to be associated with the
printer (or printer driver).

And without knowing what type printers all the users may have, I would take a
conservative approach and try to make the text look nice on what would be the
worse case printer.

Not much help, huh?

Sometimes "Advanced printing features" in printing preferences is the
problem. Try turning that off or disable it if you find it in your
printer settings.
