FTP site question

I have spent all day searching the relevant groups but have had found no real answer to my question

My question is this

I have an .xls from which I will save one sheet as a .csv file (this part I have managed), from here I want to save it to an FTP site on our Intranet. The .xls will be used by approx 40 users so the process will have to involve some kind of userform for username and password entry

I am totally new to FTP work and am looking for a helping hand/suggestions

look for grade sheets. He formats and FTPs files to a server
to report student grades. Not passworded, but student has to
know the identity number that pertains to their own report.
