FTP issue...

We have two FTP sites configured on our Win2K server. One is a read only
site on port 21 the other is configured as read/write on port 2122.

I am having problems with the read/write site. I can logon to the site and
the server shows the conection BUT I cannot view the contents. I am using
Explorer 6.0 to browse the FTP site. I have "folder view' check and am using
passive mode. I just keep getting the following error...

AN error occurred opening that folder on the FTP server. Make sure you have
permission to access that folder.

Details:
200 Type set to A
227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,2,9,13,127).
426 Connection closed; transfer aborted

Funny thing is, if I stop the read/only site, and then change the port on
the read/write site (the one I'm having problems with) to port 21, it works
fine!! It just seems like the two sites do not want to live together!!!

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Brad

This probably isn't very helpful, but...

Perhaps Internet Explorer is trying to connect on the wrong port? Have you
tried another FTP client? It may just be another screw up on IE's part...

Thanks Mike. Yes it';s using the right port because I can see an entry in
our firewall log that shows the incoming port request and it shows as
"allowed in".

What's another freebie FTP client I could maybe try?
