FTP Frontpage 2003 to Earthlink

I am unable to connect to FTP Frontpage 2003 to Earthlink. I can save
the Web into a local folder and use a separate FTP program to upload
but that is cumbersome and bypasses FrontPage features.

Everything I find on the MicroSoft web, Earthlink & Google leave me
suspicious, but no solution.

The Earthlink host that I a referring to is not the service that
supports FrontPage but the one that is included for all customers.

The "FrontPage or Share Point Services" works on a properly supported
site.

You may want to test at other free sites that offer the MS FP Extensions as
most IPS's free web space does not have the extensions.

The free web space I have from MSN, Sprint and Bellsouth do not have the
extensions so only with FTP can files be uploaded there.

Using FP is not the problem. Making FTP work in FP is the problem.

The Web space works fine with the Shareware WS_FTP which is shareware.

That did it!
For those finding this with a search:
The Earthlink FTP address is
(ftp-www.earthlink.net)
Do not add anything else to the next line,
it will prompt for usrname & PW

It works for me...
