FTP download File Format

Does anyone know how to make Internet Explorer download a
file from a FTP site in ASCII format??
 
Hi, Jim -

I'm afraid it's not possible to FTP files in ASCII from
within Internet Explorer. I know you didn't ask for a
suggestion but perhaps a little bit more versatile FTP
client is what you need.

The command-line FTP client that comes with Windows XP
will also do ASCII tranfers.
