Being downloaded about 6000 times a day, it looks good.
Leechftp developpement has been ceased.

Filezilla is better than leach for all around uploading and downloading;
plus it has built in sftp support and ssl over ftp, and resumes transfers.
Leach is best for downloading and only does vanilla ftp

i've used ws_ftp (sucks), ssh secure file transfer client, and
filezilla. filezilla is the best ftp program i have ever seen; there's
no reason to use anything else. just try it, its fantastic

The only issue I ever had with Filezilla is that its sftp function didn't
work with a server setup with scponly (
http://www.sublimation.org/scponly/ ) on a FreeBSD server. SSH's free for
personal use sftp client did work though.

However, that's a very esoteric issue that like only 2 other people need to
worry about. Filezilla rocks!

CoreFTP is my current FTP-favourite. It's light and fast. You can
change the window layout to your liking. You can associate sites to
local folders, i.e. if you connect to ftp://that.site.xyz , the local
folders view automatically sets to c:\that_site\ .

Note: every time you start CoreFTP there's a 4 second countdown splash
screen. That may annoy some :-) And, IIRC, the very first time the
countdown took no less than 10 sec!

There's a shareware pro version, too.
