FS4000US long exposure comparison

Recently there were a few threads about difficulties scanning slides
with the Canon FS4000US. I just put up a comparison of a few methods
of scanning with the Canon and as a bonus had the same slides scanned
on a Nikon LS-5000. I'd welcome any feedback or comments.

Also, if you're using Vuescan with this scanner I recommend upgrading
to the latest version. It seems to be fully working for the first time
in months (I'll confirm this when I have more time to test it).

I also put up a brief comparison to the Nikon LS-5000 as I scanned a
few slides with both.
