Since installing windows XP Home edition on my computer
FS2000 restarts computer after trying to run "flying
lessons" after just a few seconds.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Hi Adam (Bruce),

Your system is most likely restarting as a result of a STOP error.
To stop this behavior and to analyse the error, try the steps in
this article: http://www.mvps.org/marksxp/windowsxp/bsod.htm

You can also get the Recommended "Windows Error Reporting"
Update from Windows Update site to get error solutions from the
MS Knowledgebase automatically. Just double click any red X's
that you see in Administrative Tools / Event Viewer. Download
the 32 bit version: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=821558
