frozen taskbar

Having problems with the taskbar freezing on startup in
WinXP Home.....have heard many others with the same
problem. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?????

No, no problems with lock and unlocking taskbar.....When we
Boot the computer or logon, the taskbar takes 10+ min to
load. Desktop links are active and work with no problem,
but if you minimize before the taskbar completely comes up,
your window just disappears. It seems to be freezing when
trying to load icons. Many people having the same problem,
no answers anywhere.
