frozen or locked property sheet Access 2007

I've been using Access 2007 for awhile and this just started happening for no
apparent reason. Not always, only sometimes, the property sheet in form
design opens up but it's locked. I cannot click on any of the fields or
tabs, only the close button.

Anyone else have this problem? Suggestions? Thanks very much.
