Frozen Computer

Hi,

About 10 timers a day i get a total freeze when using the
internet (internet explorer version 6), Ctrl+Alt+Del does
nothing. The only way is to reboot the computer which now
takes ages. Sometimes this does not work and i have to
switch it off at the plug! I have put a fair amount of
software on over the last 6 months such as Norton, Inbox
Cop (anti-spam), CAD 2000, Sage, AA Autoroute and others,
I am Running windows XP Pro on a Dell Dimension 8200.
HELP!

DOES IT STALL ON CERTIN PAGES AKA when it encounters JAVA
or ACTIVX? Or what are you doing right before the stall,
