Frontpage site and browsers

Brad

I built a site using frontpage 2000. Most people can view it on the site, but
others are saying all they get is a blue screen. Could some wiz have a look
at the site and tell me what the problem is.

Thanks very very much!

What browsers are they using that all they get is a blue screen?
Where did you get the script that you are using?

HI tom,

thanks for the reply. Not sure what browsers are being used, nor the script.
I simply made it wtih frontpage 2000.

What I've done just now is remove the text boxes from opening pages, par the
highlight of the entire cell the text is in. If you look at the site, you'll
know what I mean re highlighting. I had some formatting around the text
itself which once deleted, did nothing to the overall effect of the cell
highlight. I'm fumbling through an article that talks about VML, which can
play havoc with some browsers other than IE; which is why, if I have it
right, I removed the formatting around the text (not including the highlight
of the cell itself.) Would that help? Hard to know when I'm running off IE
and have not a clue what those have problems are using.

Okay, text boxes only work in IE.
VML only works in IE.
Many FP styles only work in IE.

People use browsers other than IE.

You should google for cross browser scripts that will work for you.

www.dynamicdrive.com is one place to look.

I would guess that the flashing text is not supported by all browsers.....or
that people have javascript turned off.

The script is "dynamic animation" - a Frontpage feature - the DHTML animated
text/transitions etc.
