Website viewers complain that navigation buttons displayed as red X.

Check the URLs of the images. My guess is that they are pointing to your
local hard drive. This can happen when, for example, you open and edit a
page without opening the web first.

Thanks for the support. First. Let me clarify the problem. I have not been
able to recreate or view the problem myself. At home and work all navigations
buttons work fine. Yet I receive several calls per week from our customers
complaining that they are unable to access our inventory page. The navigation
buttons are either display as a red X or don’t work when click on. I was
thinking it’s their browser being outdated, but this happens way to often.

Hi aloysal,

You're using Hover Buttons. Hover buttons are Java applets, and due to the
situation that existed between Sun and Microsoft for awhile, Java is not
supported on many Windows systems. I would advise using JavaScript mousovers
instead.

Hi Aloysal

I could not find any hover links that were not displaying the graphic or did
not work when clicking on them. I didn't go over every single page on your
site but the ones that I looked at were displaying fine. I did find
something that I would suggest correcting for users with dialup connections
and that is compressing the graphic files listed below. These four images
are way too big for their pixel size and could be compressed down to around
30,000 bytes as apposed to
