Frontpage randomiser?

I am wanting to put a text box on my web-site. I want it on all the pages on
my site but i would like it to say somthing different on some form of
randomiser.
Dont really know how to explain other then when someone goes onto one page
to another, i would like the text box to say a quote, perhaps if i prgrammed
a few in, and then it chooses a random one each time?
If anyone understands that can this be done?

That would require some server side scripting.

Using JavaScript create an array of quotes then select the quote using a random number.

J-Bots contains the "Tip of the Day" component behavior that can be used for this purpose.
