frontpage placing file folders on desktop

When I copy a navigation bar (interactive) from a previous page and paste it
in the page I am working with, FrontPage places a file folder on my desktop.
When I click on the folder there is a file titled "file list". When I click
on it there is a brief xml file of the image that I copied and pasted.
Anybody know why this is happening. It is bugging me because I have to go
back and delete all those folders from my desktop. I would apreciate any help!

Are you starting FrontPage from a shortcut on your desktop or the
Quicklaunch bar? Try starting it from Start | Programs instead and see if
the problem goes away.
