have office 2003 / xp home / frontpage 2003 ..Every time I get into frontpage
now it gets hung up. I checked for updates and the system says I have all
the neccessary updates. Been using frontpage for years and this has never
happen. What the heck is going on?

Could you explain any action you were doing at the time this problem
occurred? Or is it just that FP freezes and doesn't allow any action at
all? Have you tried a clean-up of your hard drive - e.g. temp internet
files etc, and the temp files Frontpage uses (www.95isalive.com has a
utility called "FPCleaner" for this purpose). Download and run it to see if
that helps you.

Note, Frontpage has been discontinued (18 months ago when Expression Web 1.0
came out) so that might explain the 'no updates available' issue you
encountered.

It didn't work... Not sure what else you need. once I get into the website
it hangs up and you can not do anything. If you wait 5 - 10 mins it will
take your command. I tried to defrag thinking that word is starting to move
slower too, but I defrag a month ago. When I get on the internet (Explorer
7.0) I always delete files etc. It seems like it when you alt cntrl delete
it helps it some by giving you a response, but then it gets hung back up. I
scanned for viruses 2 days ago and have just added an HP all in one. But
word and outlook were moving slow before then. I checked for oofice updates
and everything is updated. I also tried it from another PC no HP printer on
it and it is having the same problem. That history too is clear.

Sounds like you have other stuff going on that FP is reacting to worse than
other programs.
How much space left on hd?
Run scandisk and defrag again, dump TIF, etc.....iow clean your machine.

You don't state what OS you are using, but you may want to visit a newsgroup
for whatever OS you are using for more ideas.
