Frontpage forms

When the submit button is used on my form it brings up a prompt for username
and password, if these are entered it then brings up the confirmation page
and processes the results of the form correctly. How can I make the form
work without the need to enter username and password?

Where are you saving/sending your form data to
- by default only the FP _private folder has write permissions on it

There is a file upload which is saved to a folder within the private folder
and the other form results are also saved to a file within the private
folder. The only other file in the private folder is a dynamic template. I
havent altered the write permissions. My site is
http://mail.learningpost.co.nz/students/june.port

Thanks for your help, I'm tearing my hair out.

In the general website list not in a specific folder. Should it be somewhere
else?

No
The confirmation page can be anywhere
But you said you are using File Upload
- that is your problem
Upload to file to another folder with the correct permissions
- not the _private folder
See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299763
(your host may need to set the permissions)
