FrontPage 2003 with AllWebCo templates

Anyone have any experience/guidance using FP 2003 to edit
templates ?

I purchased an AllWebCo template and it appears anytime
you open & edit a page, the links to it stop working.

The company recommends FP, Dreamweaver and other WYSIWYG
editors, yet they seem unable or unwillingly to help me
with a simple problem. They seem to say they are a big
company, but the responses have thus far have only come
from 1 person and the "Gee, I don't have FP 2003" made me
wonder.

Only advice I got was that FP 2003 might rename the file
extensions from .HTM to .HTML, which did not happen with
me.

They claimed there products are editable with FP, but I'm
stuck. You guys helped me before and I hope someone has
run into editting templates with FP.

Notepad works, it's just very tedious.

I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole.

They are too easy to build yourself, and by doing so you solve tons of
potential problems.

I've yet to find a template that I couldn't edit. I don't generally use templates but have once or twice...I HAVE used them a lot to learn how to build a clean looking site.

I've used FP2002 to edit and experiment on not only FP templates but Dreamweaver, and other ones too. You just gotta experiment a little. Almost anything is editable in FP btw.

Which one of their templates are you working with, or supply your web's URL.

Any particular reason ?

Somethng screwy with their templates that FP 2003 doesn't
like ?

I don't like their menus. I don't like their code. The images and page
fluff is OK.
