Frontpage 2003 navigation toolbar text not showing after upload

I have recently purchased Frontpage 2003 and am new to the process. I don't
have any problems uploading the server intially with the website created
under FrontPage 2003. I also use the themes that the program came with. The
problem I run into is when I make changes to the website locally and
re-publish, for some reason the text will not show in the navigation toolbars
via the Internet. The buttons look and function properly but will not
display anything. It looks fine when I preview the page in Frontpage. The
website is www.tjcfc.org.

Any ideas? Help. Thanks. Andy

Please provide the steps you are using when publishing, and if you are publishing to a server that
has the FP extensions.

I click on 'Remote Web site.' I select Frontpage or SharePoint services. I
select the remote web site location at http://tjcfc.netfirms.com. I then hit
Publish Web Site. The site from the hosting service that demonstrates the
upload is shown via link:

The website hosting provider has an option where you can Reset the Frontpage
extensions when pages do not load properly. I have reset this numerous
times and re-published to no avail.

Thoughts? Thanks. Andy

Hey Andy,

You could try inputting the text directly into the buttons on the server,
instead of locally. If you're FTP'ing to your site this won't work.

Open your site in internet explorer GOTO FILE EDIT with Microsoft Frontpage.
Make the changes directly and back the site up to your C drive when
finished.

Now the functionallity should work correctly.

Hope this helps. If not Maybe Thomas will get back to you someday. LOL

Do you get any error messages when publishing, particularly when the
"Processing.web updates" message appears after the upload part of
the publish?

Try opening the remote site in FrontPage (use the link in Remote Site
View) then run
Tools->Recalculate Hyperlinks
This will either correct the problem, or generate an error you can
report to your host.
