frontpage 2003 demanding username and password when opening websit

When I open my website in the 2003 frontpage it demands username and
password. Also on the form on my website, when you press submit it asks for
my username and password (which is useless to anyone visiting the site). I
have been told to go to Tools, Server and them Adminstration. However, when
I do this an error box comes up saying that I need a World Wide Web Broser
such as Internet Explorer. I do have Internet explorer, so please could you
tell me why it will not connect.

I am grateful for any suggestions as I am totally stuck.

many thanks,

It's supposed too. It keeps other people from editing your site.

Have your host make sure that the _private folder has "server write" permissions.
This is where your form is tying to save the data.
