FrontPage 2002

I've installed FrontPage 2002 on my Windows XP computer
and every time I try to open it, it freezes. I've
updated with the security patch and it still doesn't
help. What is the cause and how can I fix this? It's so
frustrating!

Hi yk.

Try doing these:

1) Delete FrontPage and Windows temp files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file CMDUI.PRF (deleting this
file will remove any customizations you have made with your toolbar..and it
will be rebuilt using the default the next time you open FrontPage)
4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins (especially any recently added ones)

More often than not it is number 3 that will hopefully correct this for you.
