Frontpage 2002 & Windows XP

Donald Byers

My problem exists in the Frontpage Preview screen. I have
a Java Script menu that is working on the net. But when I
go to the preview screen it drops down the windows but
they don't take you to the screen you selected.

I upgraded to Windows XP from Windows 2000 and Frontpage
2000.

My internet options does not include the Windows Virtural
Machine.

Is Frontpage and this option tied togeather? I am unable
to enable java in the options because they are not their.
Or do I have another problem.

Thanks Don Byers

Use File Menu | Preview in Browser, not the Preview tab.

Java and JavaScript are two totally different technologies and only share
the word Java. Neither is dependent on the other to work.

For Java you must have Java Virtual Machine Installed, for JavaScript,
JavaScript must be enabled in the browser.

Is this because the preview screen is not supported?????
As it worked for me before I upgraded to Windows XP.

Thanks Don

No, but most likely installed a IE update which does block this
functionality.
