Frontpage 2002 publishing error

Maggie S.

I made some significant changes to my site and tried to
republish the entire site to my host's server. I have
been publishing and re-publishing fine until now.

I got the following publishing error:
"The server sent a response which FrontPage could not
parse. If you are trying to connect to a FrontPage server,
check with the server's administrator to make sure the
FrontPage server extensions are installed properly."

I tried recalculating the hyperlinks on the live site via
FP. I got a similar error message.

Using my host's control panel, I removed and then
reinstalled the FP extensions. I then checked the server
health (fine) and recalculated the hyperlinks on my local
server.

When I tried publishing again, I got the same error
message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think I may have solved this one myself. I must have
inadvertently made one of the changes on the remote site
in FP2K, because I can publish successfully by comparing
the local and remote sites but not by using timestamps to
determine which file was published most recently.

But thanks anyway!
