You answered your own question - MS Frontpage will enable you to link and
load access in either a secure folder (if you have the correct rights).
I have made anumber of access/frontpage webs and they seems to work OK -
you
may be better asking about this though in the Frontpage forum on the left
of
the screen.
Note - you MUST have the frontpage server extentions to use access in
certain folders (like using the password login facility using a simply
access
table) so before you go out and pay any money make sure your service
provider
can handel these.
Also note that frontpage is being discontinued my MS quite soon ??
Wayne,
I have just purchased a new computer with the new Vista on it. (that's
all one can get now) My frontpage 2002 worked perfectly under XL. I had no
problems uploading to my site. Now, all I get is "cannot find your server,
or your proxy setting is wrong, cannot be found in port 80. I am no computer
geek and I'm about ready to chuch both the computer and the VISTA and go back
to my old one. I have contacted the people I purchase the bandwidth from and
they can see no problems on their end. Can you or anyone help?
