front page unable to create sub website

Hi

everytime I try to create subwebsite via Server Admin connecting to the live
web site i get the following error message
"Starting create, port: itac.ca:80, web: "/new". Created: unknown Version:
5.0.2.2623 "

or via FP client on the local or live server I get the error message:
"unable to parse , contact server administrator"

Any help is good i need to create subsites cause my site is large
 
Have you contacted your host to see if account is allowed to create subwebs/sites?

Ok, then open the live/remote site directly in FP via File Menu | Open Web / Site, create a folder,
then right click and select convert to web / site

This is the error message I get when I try that

"The server sent a response which frontpage could not parse. If you are
trying to connect to a Windows Sharepoint Services server, check with the
server's administrator to make sure Windows Sharepoint services is installed
properly."
 
You need to contact your web host.
