I'm using FP2003 and when I create a form and want to send to a database I
have a problem. The problem is that the "create database" is greyed out.
I've tried to "add a connection" and it will not create one. What am I doing
wrong. I've sorted to the posts and can't find a solution. This used to work
fine, and I believe that this problem might have occured when I installed the
most recent SP.

are you working with and open site/web? (not just in a "page".)

I'm working with a page that is connected to a site.

The problem is when I create a form, select form properties, send to
database, options, and then try and create a database. The create a database
is "greyed out", meaning the function is disabled. Something is broken in
FP. I have FP on my laptop and when I edit this site and I can "create a
database" When I try and edit this site on my desktop I can't "create a
database". I've uninstalled/reinstalled FP and it's still broke. Probably
something broken in the registry.

Is the Web you have opened in FP a server based web (available) or a disc based web (not available)

Doesn't make a difference. In the past I've been able to create a database
through the form generator on disk based and then upload to my server. The
create database function has just stopped working. I can create a database
in access and then add the connection, but that's a lot more work because I
have to manually enter the field names.

you need to open the web first, then open the page with the form, then go to form
properties,options, send to database etc.

Do you have the server extensions running on your server (or on your PC - i.e.
running IIS Windows XP Professional?)

Wasn't the problem. Something in fp or xp went south. Had to reformat the
drive and reinstall the system, now everything is just "peachy".

Thanks for the help.
