Front Page FAILS when saving changes - HELP!

Open existing file and make changes (e.g. change date) Attempt to make ANY
save or copy and program errors with msg MS FP has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Then asks if I want to
report this problem to MS.

Have your tried the usual "clean up" routine:

Close FrontPage and Internet Explorer.
Using Windows Search, search for files named *.web ( with the asterisk ) and delete all found.
Then search for and delete files named *.tmp
Then clear the Internet Explorer Temporary Internet, History and Cookie files.
Reopen FrontPage and see if it's back to normal.
