front page compatability

I have a website for a small business. It was developed by another person using Net Objects Fusion v.5. Can I purchase Front Page 2003 and start to manage my website myself?
 
if you could provide a url to the site it'd help.
does it have unusual file types or anything? are unique server extensions
required for it?
