I had a web site published and working with a host that had problems with
their server because of a hacker. They tell me everything is working ok now,
but I can't publish my web site again. The message ways the upload
(publishing) was successful but when I try to pull up my web site I get "I'm
not authorized to view that page." I tried to contact the host for over two
weeks via email to inform them of the problem (that's the only way to
contact their tech support) but no one has responded, and I'm ready to give
up on that host and go to another host. Can I do that? If I try to publish
wth another host will I run into problems? Or what's the best way to get my
site published?

Bev,

From what you described, this does not sound like a "HOST" company, but
rather an invidual attempting to host websites. I would move as quickly as
possible to a reputable host that offers phone support as well as mail, live
chat, etc..

If you have your web files locally and can manage your domain (Update DNS),
then the process is simple.

1- Create a new account with a host company
2- Upload your files
3- Update the DNS to the new hosts servers.
(The new host can provide this for you)
