How do you show two (or more) pages in the editing window at the same time?
E.g. in Excel, you can choose not to have the workbook fill the Excel window
and then click back and forth between the two or more workbooks you're
working on.

Or alternatively, show the pages you're editing on a sidebar where you can
click on the page you want to edit?

Not possible. However you can open a new window using the Windows Menu and load another page.

Just open multiple pages (File...Open....) - they show up as "tabs" similar to
different worksheets in Excel as you've pointed out - the idea is the same.

But just to clarify, do you mean "multiple pages" (within one web) or multiple
webs with multiple pages - web and page in Frontpage terminology are not the same
thing. A "Web" (as frontpage calls it; a web site is what it really is, as a
whole) is a collection of files to make up that web, eg. html pages, scripts,
images, etc.

If we're talking about multiple pages within one web, yes you can have multiple
files (pages) open within that web. If you want multiple webs open, then just
start another session of frontpage and open a different web.

Not in FP2000. The page tabbing was introduced in FP2002.
In FP2000, all there is is the Window menu option, or add Previous Page and
Next Page selectors to a toolbar (Customize toolbar)
