Front End of Split Database

I have split my database and secured it. As the final
step I am copying the front end file to the desktop of
user's computer.

My question is: When they create new queries or forms will
these be available to all users?

It was my thought that it would be localized to that user.
Is that correct?

Thanks,
Amber

You are correct. If they create or modify an object in the .mdb file on
their machine, it does not propogate those changes around to the other
users.

Furthermore, when you give them a new FE their own queries and forms
will vanish. I'd suggest giving each thief own MDB which is linked
to all the tables just for their own queries and reports.
