From Word to Powerpoint

I need to create a presentation of Christmas lyrics. Currently I have the lyrics
in a Word file.

I know I can copy and paste, but this will be pretty tedious for the number of
songs I have to do.

Are there any tricks I can use? Can I paste a large amount of data and have
PowerPoint automatically create new slides when the data spills over? Can I drag
and drop a verse, then have PowerPoint automatically create a new slide?

I guess what I'm really looking for is the ability to create new slides
automatically, much like Word creates new pages as you enter. Can PowerPoint do
this?

Using the Send to function, you can send the lyrics from Word to PowerPoint.
You will need to create new slides manually though. Check this out:
