Hi, I really do hope that someone can help me. I am copying information from
Access and pasting it into Excel to compile a report. I have to present a
report in the following format-:

Name Net Pay Pensions CELL ALLOWANCE
Charmaine 70,000 4,000 2,000
Akena 60,000 3,000 1,000

But this is the format of the Data in Access. Does anyone know how I could
transform the under mentioned into the aforementioned. Thank you.

First_name Desc Amt
CHARMAINE TRAVELLING $4,385.49
CHARMAINE Basic Salary $80,000.00
CHARMAINE PENSIONS ($4,000.00)
CHARMAINE CELL $4,000.00
CHARMAINE REFUND $2,000.00
CHARMAINE COLA $480.00
CHARMAINE NET PAY ($70,303.24)

If you are using Access2000 or higher, look at Pivot Tables in the Help
file.

A crosstab query won't do it because a crosstab query only allows you to
pick one field for the columns.

WRONG in that DESC is one field!

Yes, you are right; I should have looked closer. I saw Net Pay, Pensions and
Cell Allowance and blindly thought they were different fields. Thanks for
the correction!!
