From Outlook Express to My Pics... changes to FILE format

Same problem as before. When friend's email has an
embedded picture in email in Outlook Express, I click on
it, and then "Save Picture As" and save to My Pictures.
When it gets to My Pictures, it changes from .Jpg to File
format. Have done the suggested change in Tools,
Options, and the security "encrypted" option was
unchecked. Where do I go from here?? Please?

Click on Tools in OE and Options, click the Read tab, uncheck the box Read
all messages in plain text.
