from grub to windows xp

i have a toshiba laptop which used to run windows xp professional
edition and linux, via grub. i reformatted using the windows xp home
edition "recovery and applications/ drivers cd". now when the computer
boots, it gives the grub prompt. how do i run windows again? i don't
need linux anymore, if that helps.

Well I can tell you if you want to remove linux completely boot up the XP
home disc and delete all partitions from your HDD and then format NTFS file
system quick or regular and then itll boot to windows as there is no other
partitions with linux on them

From a DOS boot disk run fdisk /mbr

From the Recovery Console run fixmbr, fixboot, and bootcfg /rebuild

i've solved the problem of how to boot it.
