Thanks for the pointers. It seems that MS see nothing wrong with a single
partition. I hav eone more question though:
A number of people say one partittion for the OS and one for all else (apps
and files (multi media etc)). But I assume that the registry files sit on
the same partition as the OS. So if you re-install the OS, despite other
apps being installed on the other partition, surely you will have to
re-install them too (due to new registry), event though their files will
still exist?
