fresh install xp-pro getting error

Fresh install--(mob---Ram ---cpu---harddrive) formated to ntfs run thu steup
files,load os files no problem.
When Pc boots after os files load when DMI pool data check system says
Error loading OS files keeps blinking. Check cables, ram DVD and CD burnner,
tryed 3 times to load os and same error.
AMD cpu 2.5 333-- 1 gig ram ddr2700.
any help with this, never ran across this, has me climbing wall.

Also, Have you tried going into bios setup and forcing the bios to
boot from that drive? You should be able to select the primary boot
device from you boot menu

tryed that still getting same error
Long shot, but who knows. Did XP do the ntfs format? If it did not do
you have the boot drive set to active.
