I have recently tried to re-install XP. I put in the CD and restarted and it went fine through the freshinstall process. The problm I am having is that when I boot up I have two Win XP Home Edition options to choose from. One of them is my new install and the other one leads to an error. I don't feel confident that my hard drive has been completely reformated. Is there any way totake care of this?

You can checnge this by going here:
Start/control panel/system/advanced/startup and recovery
Click EDIT and delete the reference to the old OS from
this file.
