Frequent "has encountered problem

I can be just setting here surfing the net and for no
reason IE will come up and says it has encountered a
problem and has to close. before I close it i click on
the teck info and I get a bc code of 00000008e. Have any
ideas as to what is causing this problem. I have
searched the knowledge base and have found nothing about
this problem. Thanks

Try to restore IE to the initial settings. Insert the XP Cd in the drive and at a DOS Prompt type this command sfc /scannow and it will restore the missing files in Internet Explorer and Windows to its original settings. If this doenst happen then you will have to restore your computer to a date when it wasnt reporting much errors
