French keyboard or not

Hi can anyone help, just moved to france but running Xp
on english computer, needed a french keyboard to
translate kids homework,purchased one in france with all
the different letters ect... but computer recognises it
as english keyboard, please help kids and computer
driving me mad..........

Hello

Give this a try, Control Panel, and then Regional Options
and then go to Input Locales, their you can change your
KB settings.

And the keyboard layout can be changed my right click on task bar,
choosing Toolbar, enabling language bar.
An Icon will appear in Taskbar.
