French accents

I've had difficulties when it comes to add accents on
french words example ``e instead of è. I need to use the
code key which should not be. Tell me why this is
happening. Usually when you hit he collon key the
accent appears and then you type the letter in it places
itself below the accent. Hope you can help

it seems you do not have the proper keyboard mapping.
Open control panel, and verify that install keyboard is
corresponding to the one you have
