French accent recognition

How do I get my Eplorer 6.0 to recognize French accents?
Right now I get either a ? mark or a little box instead
of the letter that is supposed to have the accent over it.
 
Start/Settings/Control Panel/Keyboard.

If the French keyboard is not install, use the Add function.

Otherwise select your French keyboard settings.
