Freezing panes

Ok, I know how to Freeze x number of rows.
But I also want to Freeze a COLUMN also.
Is that possible?
if so, how?

Select the column past the column you want to freeze to

select the row past the row you want to freeze to
--or--
select the cell past the column and row that you want to freeze to

Like I said, I know how to do one.
I need to do one AND the other. Not either or.
