Freezing Panes within a PivotTable

Kim

I have a pivot table with mulitple rows; I want to freeze
the first 5 or so rows but can't. When I choose Windows,
Freeze Panes, scrolling up and down does not change, but
scrolling left and right does (it's like it froze the
left and right scrolling). Any way I can get it to
freeze what I want???

Thanks!

The worksheet will be frozen above, and to the left of the active cell.
For example --

To freeze rows 1 to 5,
-Select row 6, by clicking on the row button at the
left of the worksheet.
-Choose Window>Freeze Panes

To freeze rows 1 to 5, and columns A to C,
-Select cell D6
-Choose Window>Freeze Panes
