Freeze when connect .

Dear all,

Is there anyone know? When I connect internet to my ISP via ADSL modem, It always freeze for a while (about 5-10 minutes) then come back to working.

What is the virus/malware status of the computer? If you think it is
clean, what did you use/do to determine this?
