Freeze Up & Percing Sounds

I have had this problem for about one month. I just got
my computer back with a new motherboard and two new
drives. (Maxtor)But I'm haveing a REAL bad issue with my
screen freezeing up on me and then I get a loud ear
percing sound over my speakers. My system is running
regular Temp. Could I have one or two bad drives?

When you say you got your computer back, does that mean from a "computer
repair shop"? If so, did you call tham and ask why you got your computer
back from them and it doesn't work right?
The screen freezing could be related to video drivers, direct x, heat, or
crashing software. hard to say without more specifics. The sound could be
sounds drivers or maybe your mic is not muted in the playback options in
volume control and your hearing feedback.

Have the shop you took it to remedy the situation. If they cant, cancel
your charge.
