Freeze Up & Ear Splitting Noise

G

Gregory

I checked both of my hard drives and there good to
go. My Vid. card ATI 9800 has it's latest drivers and so
dose my sound card, Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer. But for
some unknown reason, only when I play games in single or
mutiplayer mode. My screen will freeze up and I'll get an
ear percing noise from my speakers. I did a "DXDIG"
test on my Synthesier, Audio, Midi Mapper, Synth A, Synth
B, Sw Synth, and Midi IO. They all tested out
sucsessfuly. So what could be wrong with my Screen
freezing up & getting that God awful ear splitting noise?
Any other subjestions?

I had this problem once, have you restarted lately, if
so perform a scan disk, if this doesn't work try
reinstalling the game and you audio drivers.<<<<<Justin
