When I am on certain sites, example Morningstar, I click
one of their programs, aids, and my screen goes black. The
cursor is frozen. Top left corner displays "AT&T-
Microsoft Internet Explorer." Top right corner
displays "Click here to skip Commercial", and at bottom of
screen displays "Visit Site." As I said before, cursor is
frozen.
Efforts to resolve: Esc key, used Ctrl, Alt and delete,
but nothing works. I have to manually shut PC.
Aids on PC, Norton System Works which I keep uptodate, and
indicates no problems, AdAware which I also keep uptodate.
I am a very senior citizen and very new at this.
Your advise, help and suggestions would be most gratefully
appreciated

Hi,
"Screen Freeze" is usually video driver related ....
Check for updates for your video adapter.
