FREEWARE timetracker/ logger?

Hello,
I've been trying to find a freeware timetracker program that can be used to
log time spent working on a project , with rate$ per hr calculated etc.
aimed at desktop publishers or designers etc.

I've tried Veritime from PcfWorks but it isnt freeware.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
